Lisa Davis-Roberts, Social Venture Partners Coordinator Lisa Davis-Roberts joined InterAct for Change as the Coordinator of Social Venture Partners Cincinnati in April 2008. As SVP Coordinator, Lisa provides support to the partners. She manages logistics of special event planning, maintains the database of nonprofits, prospective funders, media contacts, and assists with recruiting, governance and SVP’s nonprofit investments (grants). Lisa has worked in a variety of positions in education, arts, and non-profit organizations. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a Master of Arts in Art History from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Prior to SVP, Lisa worked at Northern Kentucky University in the Office of Research, Grants & Contracts as a Grants Administrator, in which she collaborated with a team of five professionals to increase external funding for faculty research and programming. Most recently, Lisa served as the Compliance Manager, overseeing and improving compliance in research with federal, state, and agency guidelines to protect the rights and safety of research subjects. Lisa also taught art history courses in the Department of Art. From 2001-2003, Lisa worked as the Development Coordinator at the Cincinnati Waldorf School. She collaborated with the board, administration, and volunteers to increase the school’s fundraising potential. She coordinated the 2001 and 2002 annual campaigns, each the most successful in the school’s history, at that time. From 1991-1996, Lisa worked as the Registrar at the Taft Museum of Art. As a part of the curatorial and administrative team, she managed the care of the museum’s collections and organized exhibitions. She also supported the Museum Director with fundraising, exhibition development and event planning. In addition to her accomplished professional life, Lisa is an active community garden advocate and volunteer, having started two community sponsored agriculture gardens in Campbell County, KY. She also provides volunteer support to the Cincinnati Waldorf School and the Cincinnati Earth Institute. Lisa, lives in Ft. Thomas, KY, is married to Bret, an architect and engineer.
