Donald E. Hoffman, President and CEO

In addition to serving as President and CEO of InterAct for Change, Don Hoffman serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of The Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati, an independent foundation with over $250 million in assets whose mission is “to improve the health of the people of the Cincinnati region.” He is a founding director and Chair of the Health Policy Institute of Ohio and is a member of the Board of Overseers of the Greater Cincinnati Arts and Education Center.

Don spent the first thirty-five years of his career in the telephone industry, progressing through several management positions with AT&T Company and Cincinnati Bell. He retired as senior vice-president administration in 1995.

Throughout his career, Don has made a special commitment to lending his expertise and his energy to arts, education, business, and religious organizations in the Cincinnati area. Currently, Don is secretary and chair of planning for OPRS Foundation, a member of Cincinnati Rotary, and a board member of Cincinnati Rotary Foundation. He is a member and past president of the Cincinnatus Association and past chair of the Board of Governors of the Bankers Club. Don is an advisory trustee and the retired president and chairman of the board of the Cincinnati Opera Association. He also served as chair of the Cincinnati Better Business Bureau and on the Board of Directors of ChoiceCare Corporation.

Don received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Miami University and his master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati. With a wealth of knowledge and experience in corporate and philanthropic communities, coupled with an open and approachable management style, Don embraces leadership positions with great insight, accessibility, and dedication.
