Lyn Martin, Program Officer, Foundation Services
Lyn Martin joined BeneFactors in July 2005 as a Program Officer. She continues in that position for InterAct for Change now that BeneFactors has joined with the Health Foundation Fund. As Program Officer, Lyn works with grant applicants and grant recipients, as well as foundation boards of Trustees.
Lyn has worked in a variety of not-for-profit settings. From 1997-2005, she worked for RISE Learning Solutions, first as a Development Assistant, then as Project Manager and Chief Administrative Officer. Her primary focus was helping state and national clients design distance-learning programs for early childhood professionals responsible for supporting young children’s development and advancing early literacy learning. Prior to her work at RISE, Lyn served as Business Manager for the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music Preparatory Department and as administrative staff for Cincinnati’s classical public radio station, WGUC-FM.
Lyn has a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Denison University and taught elementary school music for several years.
